The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind video game, the latest installment of The Elder Scrolls universe, immerses the player into an exciting world of fantasy and action.
The new adventure of Elder Scrolls Online, the game currently played by more than 8.5 million players around the world, will place the player on the island of Vvardenfell, an old acquaintance of veteran players, that is found in the world Fantastic game, Tamriel. A 40% bigger than Orsinium, this is the largest new area created since the launch of the base game in 2014, and also aims to be the most important expansion of the game to date.
The game begins when the ship in which the character goes to this island is kidnapped by a few slaves, this first scene being a useful tutorial for those players who are entering the game for the first time. Once this gets rid of its captors, the port city of Seyda Neen is the first stop in this wonderful world.
Vvardenfell is a land full of life. The player can stroll through the bustling streets of Seyda Neen and away to find luxuriant and green forests, with an incredible flora and fauna. Set 700 years before the events of the original Morrowind, the region’s huge mushrooms, which grow tens of meters, will be immediately familiar to veteran players. Naturally, the landscape of the original RPG is still there, so the lava flows of the Red Mountain are back in this delivery, along with swampy areas and grassy lands, so typical of the island.
The player will soon be immersed in the main mission, which will lead him to the splendorous grandeur of Vivec City, where he discovers that the legendary warrior poet Vivec has fallen ill. By investigating his mysterious illness and discovering the true nature of the threat hanging over the island, much of the traditional wisdom and political intrigue in the land of the Duners (also known as the Dark Elves) will be revealed.
Morrowind is an intensely divided society, but thanks to this tension between rival houses and tribes the player will reach the most interesting missions in the game. Morrowind’s first-time players will be introduced into a magical and new world as they unravel these missions, but ZeniMax Studios has also prepared many nostalgic delights for veterans. Vvardenfell is a beautiful but threatening world, which makes the new class introduced in the game, the Warden, have the perfect qualities to gain advantage on their own terrain. We highlight one of his skills, ‘Animal Companion’ in which the player will be able to recruit a War Bear who will be his faithful companion during the game and will fight alongside him. The Warden will also have new and unique healing and attack characteristics. This wide range of single-class options shows the level of variety the game has achieved since the ESO release, which surely extend Morrowind’s game hours beyond the promised 30 hours of extra content.
While the ESO core has always been in the PvE, ZeniMax seems to be willing to tackle the balance with Morrowind. In this new installment there will be Battle Sands, a very distinctive brand of PvP. Designed to be much faster, three teams of four players can fight in three modes of play: Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch and Domination. Completing this package we find the new Trial, called Halls of Fabrication. In these new missions the hardcore players can test everything they have learned through struggles in the sands of the city of Sotha Sil. With a wonderfully complex level design, this will be a memorable challenge for players looking for the best rewards.
